My expertise includes the convening of formal enquiries into the affairs of companies in liquidation in terms of the Insolvency Act and the Companies Act, as well as the drafting of liquidation and sequestration applications and preparation of claims on behalf of creditors of companies and individuals which have been wound-up or sequestrated.My practice experience includes litigation arising during the course of the winding-up of companies and sequestration of the estates of individuals and joint estates of spouses married in community of property, dealing with and setting aside of impeachable transactions and dispositions in an insolvency scenario as well as general debt recovery on behalf of liquidators of an insolvent estate.
