  • Built the Oracle Database used in the observatory control system. Also built the C++ interface layer wrapping the native OCI calls in C and providing a more robust API to clients.• MSSS Oracle Database Administrator.• Interfaced the observatory with external sources using TCP/UDP protocols in C++, sharing data in real time. Some of these external sources were: (1) Source Integration System (SIS) a network of sensors on the Pacific Missile Range Facility. (2) MIT/Lincoln Labs Space Base Infrared Surveillance Surrogate Test Bed (SSTB) located in Massachussettes. (2) Target Management System (TMS) an in house situational awareness data fusion/display product written in C++, displaying data using QT. Architected the software using the factory method, façade, and decorator design patterns.• Provided data analysis to sensor images from a high speed photon counter by developing tools written in Python, Matlab and Octave.• Engineered, deployed, operated, processed and analyzed data from a small short wave infrared camera mount system.
