The history of child survivors of the Holocaust who were rescued into Switzerland, as refugees from Nazi persecution, is not widely known. Interviews conducted with the last generation of Holocaust survivors and archival research in Switzerland documents their experiences as refugees. This results in the publication of article in an academic journal, and the presentation my research to educate others about these rare stories of survival.

Research and Gender Intern, Department of Reproductive Health and Research

Equal access to reproductive health for both men and women impacts the quality of international public healthcare. As a member of the Team on Reproductive Health, I am compiling data, analyzing case reports submitted by WHO countries and local NGOs, and writing articles to evaluate gender equality in the case reports. Working on a multicultural team, I communicate with team leaders on a weekly basis, speak with regional offices in Africa and the Eastern Mediterranean region, and assess methodology. As a result, I provide quality analysis, which promotes access to reproductive health by supporting member states. Show less
