  This role required me to work in conjunction with the OT team to deliver a comprehensive programme of creative and leisure activities for the residents. It also required me to facilitate the use of inpatient areas available for the OT team to use. I was required to assist with specific duties and take responsibility for the work within the framework outlined and supervised by the OTs. To carry out my role well, I was required to undertake a series of training and learning courses including Positive and Safe (PAS) training, Care Certificate, 1st Aid, Patient Handling, Date Security, Child and Adolescent/Adult Safeguarding, as well as Learning Disorder and Personality Disorder Awareness courses.
