  I went to New Orleans after hurricane Katrina to help with Hurricane Clean up. The company I started with had several dump trucks working on a limestone yard doing deliveries only. I then decided to help company branch out on it's own. I researched properties, found an office building on the Mississippi River so we could have our own limestone barged in and off loaded. I was responsible for dispatching 13 of our own drivers and 200+ subcontract trucks. I was responsible for all the orders and inventory of limestone, Marketing, set up new customer accounts, Accounts receivables, accounts payables,set up company with Duns and Bradstreet, Bid jobs on the Federal Business Opportunities website, Office Management. I Also saved company money by doing all accounting and spreadsheets to turn into accountants. I worked seven days a week and if customer needed limestone delivered at 11:00pm, I would make it happen. I followed up with each customer to make sure fully satisfied with our services. TRM is a Multi-Million dollar company, when I left company to move back home to East Tennessee to be with friends and family, I hired and trained three people to take my place. TRM lost several big accounts when I left company because I provided great customer service and I was the only reason they used our company. I loved my job but missed my family and home. Show less
