      Five-person team finish second place in regional competition. Designed and built a subcomponent that made use of various mechanical members, an electric motor, a pneumatic cylinder, and a limit switch.Lead the controls design portion of the project ensuring four distinct design elements were properly sequenced so that the objective could be met. Controls included power, wiring, and piping for five electric motors, two pneumatic cylinders, and various gravity actuated components. Logic was established by using various limit and proximity switches. Responsible for design and construction of machine base to which all components were mounted. Proactively developed a spare part and tool package for the competition. By having this complete package I was able to assist a team from our school repair their project and they then won an award for uniqueness. Show less

Coordination included acquisition of all supplies and providing quality control of trainers.Maintenance platoon o Battalion maintenance officer for a 700 person unit o Coordinated services for over 300 pieces of wheeled and tracked equipment as well as over 100 piece of stationary equipment such as generators. o Planned and coordinated a 40 hour driver certification course for light, heavy, and construction equipment. Engineer detachment o Planned and coordinated live fire event and land navigation training event. o Responsible for $6 million of equipment including construction equipment, power tools, hand tools, and vehicles.
