      Specializing in interface development between all hospital systems. Our primary engine is Corepoint. Designed, built, deployed, engine and associated interfaces (200+). Responsible for operation, support, modification, and expansion of interfaces. Also worked with Mirth. IT Analyst in charge of a core set of clinical applications. Also provided after hours and triage level support for a set of secondary applications. Responsible for continued operation, maintenance of these applications and working with super-users and end users on site as needed. Examples of primary (24/7) support: GE Muse (EKG), Teletracking, IBEX (ER). Provide end user support of individual devices such as desktop PCs, laptops. Build, image, deploy and maintain these devices. Support network printers and devices. Minor support of telecom including punch down of 66 or 110 blocks. Sites which I was responsible for ranged geographically from Renton, Seattle, Bellevue and Issaquah. Customer contact daily. Provide support for 24/7 help desk for all IT related issues. Whiteboard issues, determine appropriate remediation - this may include administration functions that I could complete, contacting/paging the appropriate analyst/team, contacting vendor, or escalating to management. Also complete many tasks such as creating accounts in HIS (STAR, Allegra) as time allowed.

      Data data data data data data data, data everywhere but not a drop to drink. Caradigm (Microsoft/GE) Amalga is a super data warehouse (sort of) that can ingest any data -- transform it and relate it to any other data. We currently uses it for real-time patient alerting based on information that we obtain from systems not normally connected (ADT , LAB to DAS monitoring to nursing notes, etc). We are an Agile'ish dev team using TFS. We support a system of hospitals across 5 states. This is a C# application. Show less
