  I taught English as a foreign language to people from ages 8 and up. Most of the students I worked with were IT professionals needing to improve their English for work with international corporations such as T-Systems and Nokia. I also worked with teens and young adults who were working to improve their English for school.

  Adult Basic Education Coordinator

  I served as the ABE Coordinator for an adult learning center geared toward helping students earn their high school equivalency (HSE). I also worked with students who had completed their GEDs or other HSE, but needed extra support before entering post-secondary education.

  I provide support and training to volunteer tutors working with adult immigrant English language learners and Americans needing to improve their literacy and/or numeracy skills.I am lucky enough to work with an amazing group of dedicated people all working toward the common goal of helping improve the lives of people in the Charlottesville/Albemarle area.
