      April Gutierrez serves as the liaison for outreach to First Year Students and First Year initiatives for Campus Ministry who coordinates the Loyola Companions peer ministry program, facilitates Loyola 360 retreats, and is the chaplain for Student Diversity and Multicultural Affairs office. She collaborates with many areas of campus including first year advising, learning communities and residence life. She teaches the spring semester seminar course for the Service and Faith Learning Community.
