      Upward Call is a Christian Band that started out of Hosanna! Church in Lakeville, MN. The group formed in 1996 after years of playing for the youth church programming. There were 7 original members, and several others would come and go over the years. Upward Call went on to lead worship for thousands of people and sold over 10,000 albumns. The band ended in 2003, but the music inspired by God and written by the band members has continued to this day to change the lives and touch the hearts of many. Show less

"Never a dull moment" was never a more true description.Surrounding himself with the finest musicians in the Midwest, the band rocks, picks, and thunders along for 3-4 hours, almost non-stop from the first song to the last laugh.Millions of people have seen Johnny Holm over the years, and millions of people have been part of his fantourage.The band plays in most of the United States but most dates are in the 5 state upper Midwest area. I have worked as an assistant instructor for 5 years teaching our 40 hour crime scene school with the Burnsville PD. I am also a member of our Crisis Intervention Team (CIT). Here I have been trained to specifically deal with individuals in a mental health crisis and how to effectively assist them in their crisis while working closely with mental health professional for a best resolution for the individual in that crisis. I am responsible for development and delivery of large conference(s) and symposium(s) on forensic investigative topics as needed. I present on crime scene and investigative topics associated with LEIC’s & NFA programs to law enforcement professionals, collegiate students, funding source representatives and the public. My additional responsibilities include lead responsibility for development and managing the NFA alumni organization including website, updates and bi-annual NFA retraining opportunities for Alumni; managing the budget for the associated programs and reporting of federal grants and contracts; support development of new and revised law enforcement curriculum, evaluation and assessment of courses, conferences and symposiums; and frequent contact with law enforcement, medical examiners, forensic subject matter experts, federal, state and local officials.I currently act as a subject matter expert instructor for the UT National Forensic Academy and work in a part-time capacity.
