      The human microbiota in the gut impacts immune responses at early age and later in life. During my internship, I investigated the immunomodulatory capacity of bacterial secreted products and breast milk on the gut by in vitro assays in a model system.

      Exploration of tissue-resident T cells in bile duct inflammation and cholangiocarcinoma I am interested in translational research in Immunology with the current focus on NK cells in acute dengue virus infection and tissue-resident T cells in healthy and inflamed bile ducts. During my doctoral studies in translational liver immunology, I focused on the role of NK cells and T cells in viral infections (hepatitis B, dengue virus) and other liver diseases (primary sclerosing cholangitis, cholangiocarcinoma).
