Within my 18 year period as a retained Fire Fighter for Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service i provided an 18 hr cover system over a 7 day period with intermittent breaks within the duty roster as and when it was available. The main priority was to provide cover to respond to any incident within a set standard time frame. During my term with CFB i carried out many rescues which resulted in the saving of life and property. This was achieved via a rigorous training plan implemented throughout the year. Responsible for the completion, receipt to customer packing production orders within High Volume lines. I became a SHE Champion to improve the Health and safety of my co workers and environmental space in which we work in. This took the form of responding to safety related incidents to attending weekly workshops to improve, prevent and promote a safe healthy work place. I am very much involved with safety as to this day but no longer hold the role of SHE champion due to my new role as Operational Technician on a busy high speed production line.

Providing areas of development and opportunity to meet the LEAN challenge ahead within the Crestor format ranges currently being packed on the IMA line. I am looking to implement crucial change to provide extra space to meet the schedule adherence currently allocated to our team. From Monday the 7th Dec I will be moving into a new position training on Cp400 blister packing lines, with the focus around changeovers and production performance. This is a new opportunity to learn a new technology.
