I led a team of 5 with responsibility for recruitment, reward, change management, developing organisational structures, performance and absence management, managing the relationship with the Staff Union.I was part of the HR team that developed employee engagement and this was recognised though the HR Team of the Year at the HR Network awards in 2008.

  Following the Nationwide takeover of Dunfermline Building Society in March 2009, I have supported the ongoing integration programme as Dunfermline became part of 'Regional Brands' within Nationwide Building Society.This has included developing new operational structures and realigning resources to meet operational needs. This involved a formal consultation process with affected employees and managing the process of redundancy. Through a period of ongoing change, I have worked with the Nationwide management to reassure employees and communicate the longer term aims and benefit of being part of the Nationwide group. Following the completion of this phase, agreement was reached for my role to come to an end on 28 February 2010 for reasons of redundancy. Show less
