I gained 7 years valuable experince with this role advising on mortgages, and L&G insurances including: life & critical illness insurance, accident, sickness & unemployment cover (ASU/MPPI), income protection benefit (IPB), home insurance and landlords insurance.Also worked with trusted professionals to refer clients needing advice on equity release, pensions, commercial finance, secured & unsecured loans, wills & trusts. Due to the estate agency role I also dealt with clients buying & selling property and solicitor referrals. In Feb 2011-Mar 2011 I had further training and passed exams and fully qualified as a mortgage supervisor. Initially I worked as an Appointed Representative (AR) of The Buy To Let Mortgage People, who are Directly Authorised (DA) by the FCA. They are based in Lincoln, and after 6 months experience as a self-employed broker I was approached by a local well established mortgage and insurance broker to work with him. Show less

After leaving Pygott & Crone to work on a self-employed basis during the economic downturn, and working with other self-employed firms, I built up more knowledge and experience. During the time I worked with Personal Touch Mortgages (Lincs) Ltd, I had introduced a large number of clients of my own, and received regular client recommendations and positive feedback. The amount will depend on your circumstances.
