      Military Officer

      Command, direct, and control a Military Police Company of over 160 Soldiers. Implements directives from higher headquarters and establishes internal command policy, guidance and objectives. Ensures the company is properly equipped and trained to standard for performing peacetime and wartime missions. Responsible for complying with administrative and operational directives from higher headquarters and for strength management, safety and force protection. Started as a Second Lieutenant in charge of a Military Police Platoon. During the course of my career, promoted to 1st Lieutenant where I was the Executive Officer during a deployment to Iraq 2010-2011. Also took a position in Battalion, assigned to Operations. Later promoted to Captain and took command of a Military Police Company and deployed to Cuba 2015-2016. Show less

Show less Was in charge of Uniform Patrol Division for majority of this period, and a short stint as Criminal Investigations Commander. Was responsible for overall supervisions for all officers and compliance with agency policies, procedures and regulations. Evaluated the divisions productivity and performance by implementing initiatives and systems that ensured accountability and positive work products by all officers. Maintained records and reviewing of all reports generated by the division to ensure accuracy, completeness, and conformity to reporting procedures.
