  Transportation - Plan and implement transport methods that are strategically effective and relevant, and which optimally meet the needs of the organization.- Develop and oversee implementation of the logistics strategy across all divisions and regions in transportation..2. Import Functions- Responsible for management of the daily administration and operations for clearing imported shipments through Customs in compliance with Pakistan Customs Rules and Regulations.- Ensure harmonized tariff research, binding rulings, duty rates, and valuation on import and processed timely and efficiently. - Provide consultation to Telecom, Pharma, HCU & CPD and Finance on the importation of goods through Customs, governmental regulations, changes in import regulations, transportation requirements. Besides a regular communication and discussion on various import issues with our existing and new foreign Principals.- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Logistics- Providing Top management Analytical report of entire Cellular phones imports into Pakistan with different dimension on monthly basis enabling our management to take key decision in this respect.3. 3rd Party Warehouse & Logistics Function- Manage and Plan complete Logistics & 3rd Party Warehouse functions.4. Compliance to all applicable laws - Interface with Customs and other Federal agencies at the local level to ensure compliance with all pertinent laws and regulations besides interaction with lawyers.- Ensure compliance of all rules and regulation of PTA in relation to Cellular Phones clearance from Customs.- To ensure release of stocks in case of seizure by different Government agencies during transit through representation and with all legitimate documents.Others Support to Head of Logistics- To support Head of Logistics by providing different feasibility reports while inducting new Principals in relation to Warehousing / transportation strategy and related cost.
