Sept 2013 - Aug 2014Hr administratorWorking within GE Corporate I assisted the Lifecycle team in providing support to approximately 20,000 employees in all GE Businesses throughout the UK. My team was responsible for assisting the wider HR community and employees with any queries after the employee had been onboarded with the company. Utilising our GCRM (Global Client Relationship Manager) tool I was responsible for facilitating GE employees and the wider HR community with HR processes, including leaves of absence such as maternity and paternity, providing basic HR letters, responding to payroll and benefits queries, maintaining our employee database as a direct input user of Oracle systems, and processing employee terminations from the business. In addition to my normal duties within the Lifecycle team I assisted the onboarding team to manage high volumes by preparing contracts, new starter packs and initiating relevant background checks with our third party vendor.I was further involved in the GE Opinion Survey (GEOS) team, responsible for gathering and collating employee feedback used to identify methods of improvement. Together with a colleague in the Lifecycle team, we established a regular rhythm with the GE Healtchare business to identify ways of managing our relationship in order to offer a oneHR approach thus enhancing the employee experience.
