During my time in this position, Redland City Council was finalising the budget development for the 2014/15 financial year. I was responsible for providing strategic and analytical recommendations, specifically on special and separate charges to be included on rates notices. I was required to finalise and deliver reports and 10 year forecast financial models to Council and the Executive Leadership Group, assisting to underpin budget development methodologies, assumptions and accounting calculations to ensure informed service delivery and decision making for the City.
