  Overall incharge of Refractories department looking after Blast Furnace and auxiliaries, Steel melting shop, Flux calcination unit and mills.-Was responsible for Preparation of annual budget, Co-ordination with Materials management Department, Technical discussion and Negotiations with Vendors.-Worked as a Member of Vendor Development Committee.-Worked as a Member of SAIL Standardization Committee and CMMG for Refractory in Corporate Office of SAIL-Led many cost reduction projects. Show less Transferred to DSP as Assistant Manager and rose to the post of Deputy General Manager-Managed planning, procurement and maintenance of refractory lining of different furnaces and vessels in Steel Melting Shop, Blast Furnace and Lime calcination Plant in different capacities.-Led novel project and successfully introduced Dolomite brick lining in Steel Teeming Ladle in DSP as well as in SAIL Plants as partial import substitution of Mag–Carbon bricks during 2018. -Was responsible for planning, procurement and full Refractory Relining (Category II) of three Blast furnaces along with Reconstruction of One Hoogoven design Stove in time and without accident during the period 2015 to 2018. -Was involved as key person in introduction Monolithic Lining in SAIL-DSP in Soaking Pits and Reheating Furnaces.
