      My work in Unicorn Systems has begun as an internship. I have started as a tester (functionality tests, automated testing - JMETER), but after few months I became also a member of maintenance team (monitoring and maintenance of remote Linux servers and MySQL databases, problem investigation and resolution). All the applications (Java EE) I dealt with were developed for big energetic companies (TSOs, e.g. TenneT, Elia, ČEPS...). I have quickly got insight into server based applications, their principals and issues that appear during their development. I also learnt how to use team collaboration tools such as JIRA, SVN or GIT. Show less
