  We were responsible for the execution of the objectives of National Financial Literacy Program. We educated the rural people of District Mansehra on budgeting, investment, debt servicing and functions of financial institutions. The main task of the project was to bring as many people as possible into the financial net by opening their bank accounts. We met the target of 80% bank accounts opened.As a team leader it was my job to coordinate all the activities of State Bank staff and our partner bank’s liaison. Our partner bank for the project was Allied Bank Mansehra. Effectively, I was in charge of a team of four people. We had to schedule the visits, arrange for transportation, arrange for the systems to open bank accounts of the people in their own locality, collect data and compile it, and report back to the State Bank. My team stood out among the rest of the teams through opening 80% of the Bank accounts. Show less

  Economic Writer

  I am responsible to write 15 articles per month on Pakistan's economy. Our editorial policy requires us to write exclusive news articles highlighting the positive developments in Pakistan's economy. I write articles after conducting interviews of relevant people in various departments and industries. I also conduct news worthy research to be presented as news articles. I have worked in the capacity of Economic Writer for the first three months of my job. Thereafter, my boss gave me the task of editing press releases to be converted into news items. I had to come up with crispy headlines and look for any mistakes in the text of the press releases. I successfully worked on 7 press releases per day to be converted into news items. I continued to work as a sub-editor for the two months of November through December. Starting from the month of January, 2023, I went back to writing articles of my own on Pakistan’s economy in the capacity of an Economic Writer. Since my writing ability is very good, my boss gave me the task of editing, which usually requires years of experience working in the writing profession. I used to work along other employees in the editorial department who had more than decades of experience.After working in editorial section I realized that I work best in the strategic domain where companies require services for their sustenance and growth. Through my work in the editorial section I helped my News agency meet their annual target of articles. As of now I have started to make documentary reports of any events that are happening in the country related to economy, business and development. This is a new task that has been assigned to me and I am still in the learning phase. So far I am extremely satisfied with my progress. Show less
