  Retrieving different materials such as Lumber, Siding, Drywall, Deck boards, Fence Panels, etc., and strategically and neatly stacking and banding the material together so it can be safely delivered to our customers. Quantities of material often exceed 100 pieces and can be up to 20’ in length and often weigh thousands of pounds once bundled together/palletized. Proper stacking, wrapping, and banding is vital to ensure the material makes it safely to the customer while being transported on our hauler’s flat bed. Safety, quality control, and maximized efficiency are no foreign terms in this position. Show less Fulfilling online orders in a timely manner and providing great service to our customers by quickly and effectively loading orders into their vehicles. Scheduling deliveries and clearly communicating to team members when deliveries need to be ready. Handling and logging a wide range of products, such as shower doors, sheds, hardware, cabinetry, water heaters, flooring and tile, lumber, drywall, moulding, and much more. If Menards sells it, I’ll handle it in some way.To retrieve some of these items, I am required to use an order selector, which is a forklift-like machine with a 7-foot platform that raises and lowers. Often times I am required to drive this machine through tight corners and aisles, so being very careful and aware is very important. Show less
