Upgraded the Ramlog 2 LSA to Ramlog 3 database and did then implementation at Kentron and at various other companies. • I was in the possession of a military security clearance, that was credited by Krygkor on the 1 April 97 • Developed an Information system for Maginet. The information system uses FTP and Internet technology to transfer Jobcards and request, for the maintenance that the technician does on decentralised level. The system then uploads all the relevant information into a main database and does the necessary calculations like MTTR and MTBF for the systems that the technician works on.   • Developed a new Business Process / System for the planning of locations and balancing of locomotives in the Central Planning Office.• Developed Information system in Visual Basic to assist the business process. The system was integrated to the Oracle and the DB2 mainframe.• The team did the whole documentation of evaluations of the current process for handling and managing locomotives across the country. The new process was drawn up and the new process was used for inputs as for the development of the information system. • Integrated and developed tools / processes for train planning and wagon planning. Developed measurement tools (Management Information Systems) for evaluating planning processes and system for Spoornet.• Evaluated the Ferrochrome Supply Chain and suggested improvements as well as an implementation plan. During 1999 was promoted to middle management and managed four employees till the end feb 2001. • Managed the ferrochrome supply chain project as well as the various system development and implementation projects.• The team was nominated and received the Chairman’s award for the quality of work delivered and business impact.
