      General Job Description: Supervises the day to day operations of the section to ensure that the work is carried out at minimum cost and acceptable quality. To ensure complete utilization of service team capacity.Responsibilities & Duties: Reviews work orders and job cards, manages & distributes the work load among the mechanics team in the most efficient manner. Insures customer’s vehicles are repaired efficiently and accurately. Complies with the group’s standard for personal appearance. Controls the material consumed not to accede the allowable list of materials, collect and returns any excesses back to stores. Determine daily available capacity using all available time of productive staff while recording data on work control sheet. Determine time required to perform work. Make next day’s operation schedule with service advisor and parts staff. Follow up availability of parts for each job card. Notify the technician to continue or to stop and provide instruction on job stoppage. Verify the parts and labor cost of additional job. Place the completed job card on quality control slot on the communication board. Request the service advisor to obtain the customer approval and change in delivery time. Develop team loyalty, set objectives and coordinate the work of team members.
