  In the context of my work, I undertook the design of a microreactor using COMSOL, closely emulating an experimental apparatus unit. A significant aspect of my project involved the execution of a parametric study, where I systematically explored the behaviors of laminar gas flow and diffusion under varying operating parameters. This included a meticulous examination of gas mixing by employing dimensionless groups, specifically the Peclet, Reynolds, and Damkohler numbers. To optimize computational efficiency within the COMSOL environment, I also developed a 2D model. Additionally, I streamlined the simulation process by implementing automation techniques and integrating LiveLink and MATLAB to facilitate CFD simulations. Show less

  I designed an MS Excel-based graphical user interface (GUI) that integrates VBA, Python, Expect, and Bash scripts to facilitate high-throughput molecular simulations. Additionally, I created a Python-based user interface for automating the postprocessing of molecular simulation data. My work involved a comprehensive assessment of viscosity, diffusivity, and slip velocity in the context of Lennard-Jones fluids confined by graphene sheets. I also conducted a rigorous uncertainty analysis of transport properties and developed an innovative quasi-predictive approach for evaluating slip velocity. Notably, my contributions resulted in a remarkable tenfold reduction in the computational costs associated with measuring slip velocity. Show less
