  Teach comprehensive sexual education (OWL) to 8th graders. Plan lessons based in part on pre-existing curriculum and including updated scientific information. Run annual lock ins for students, plan field trips, and organize special projects. Teach extensive and complex lessons with an emphasis on creating safe spaces and self-discovery amongst students. Taught comparative religion to 6th graders, helping to create new curriculum to teach students about differing faiths and the importance of universal respect. Taught the history of our faith to 9th graders and supervised their weekend trip to Boston to learn about their heritage. Taught specialty classes including Harry Potter and Spirituality, Babysitting Skills, and Creative Writing.   Began as careful observer and aide in a Pre-K classroom. Role expanded to include designing and teaching a weekly lesson, then taking over lunch, recess, attendance and center time duties, running the classroom, and several weeks of solo teaching. Designed various lessons, learned about and practiced the integration of special ed children in the classroom, developed a strong rapport with the children, utilized various school resources, chaperoned field trips, and worked with teachers and aides.
