Supported citizen engagement in habitat restoration and long-term stewardship of restoration sites. Managed a volunteer recruitment and training program of over 50 citizen scientists in conducting recurring surveys and biological monitoring of restoration sites. Annually recruit and manage an average of 1200 volunteers from local communities.   During my tenure at Snohomish Co Head Start, I advanced from a classroom assistant to lead educator. I supported a classroom of 17 three to five year old children through their earliest social learning experiences. My role was to understand and meet the needs of inclusive classrooms that supported multi-language learners, low income and historically marginalized populations, neuro-diverse learners and families receiving community subsidies. I collaborated with educational agencies and community resources to recruit students for the program at Edmonds College. I developed synchronous, online workshops to support immigrant students and English language learners to navigate the college application process, set up and use their Canvas accounts, and make initial connections to college advisors.
