Acoustic Engineer / IT SupportASK Consulting Engineers (ASK) is an acoustics and air quality consultancy in South Brisbane. ASK and two other businesses were purchased in 2019 and 2020 by Trinity Consultants. I had the opportunity to apply my skills and experience in the areas of the architectural acoustics, environmental noise and vibration. While at Trinity Consultants Australia, I have developed acoustic advice for Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Education, Health, Private and Commercial Multi-storey Residential, Restaurants and Entertainment Venues Projects. The most notable projects include Ascot Aroura by Poly, The Standard by Aria, Queensland Ballet’s - Thomas Dixon Centre Refurbishment with Conrad Garget and HOTA Gallery with Hansen Yuncken. I also applied my skills sets from aviation, construction and BIM to assist remotely with international Trinity Consultants projects. As a technician in the Arts I had experience in setting up data and IT networks. This allowed me to play an instrumental role in the office’s migration to working remotely while providing acoustic consultancy services to our new and existing clients. In this time I was involved in migrating our client and project information to SharePoint, setting up the office SIP telephony service, developing methods of tracking data storage and moving offices with respect to the IT hardware and equipment. After moving into the new offices, I continued to provide IT support services for our office and the newly acquired business’. The newly acquired businesses were required to migrate to a similar data storage system to ours. I also served in the Transition Team with respect to IT to merge the two Brisbane based business’ which were recently rebranded as Trinity Consultants Australia. Show less
