      BFA Industrial Design

      I will always remember my experience at the Savannah College of Art and Design as a time where I truly began to notice the world around me and discover endless opportunities. SCAD created a unique environment in which both Art and Design were unified. As an industrial designer, I believe in the idea that balance creates harmony, much like the balance between Art and Design at SCAD, I try to apply this concept to my work and my life.

      Pensole at Parsons Footwear Design Course

      Pensole, founded by D'wayne Edwards, former Nike Jordan lead designer, was a once in a lifetime experience. The class was an intensive four-week course dedicated to athletic footwear design. It focused on all aspects of footwear design from construction and manufacturing to proportions, functionality, and aesthetics. With twenty-four students from around the world, Pensole created the ultimate creative working environment where discussion and imagination flourished.

      Experience Designer

      My time at Kaalo Experience Design was unique in that it exposed me to a consultancy environment where I worked with multiple clients in various industries. My role at Kaalo challenged me to become familiar with industry standards, primarily in the medical and commercial electronics industries. Many of the projects focused on improving the design and functionality of existing products with attention to aesthetic trends and company branding. Several of these projects included creating trend research and brand language presentations for our clients. Show less

      As an Industrial Designer at Ketra, I helped conceptualize product designs based on Marketing Requirements and Product Development Road Maps. My primary functions were to guide brand identity, design language, and user experience to create a cohesive family of intuitive products. I worked closely with Marketing, Operations, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering to develop each product from concept phase to production.
