  I have been babysitting consistently for families since June of 2019, but have experience with babysitting long before then. I have worked for families with one child to four children at once, working with ages 9 months through 11 years. Most of the children I have worked with are neurotypical, however, I have experience with babysitting children with ADHD and ASD.

  Assisting in leading a First Year Experience class for students in the College of Arts and Sciences at Kent State University. I am responsible for emailing students weekly with resources from across campus and reminders pertaining to the class. Additionally, I meet with each student individually during the semester to check in on how they are doing in their first semester at Kent State. I served in this role for the fall semester of 2021 and the spring semester of 2023. Facilitating lessons, grading coursework, and leading 21 Student Success Leaders in a classroom setting for the 2-credit-hour Student Success Leader Seminar course. Working as a research assistant in Dr. Merriman’s Child and Language Cognition Lab on a study on children’s word knowledge judgments. I am currently assisting with recording reaction times and making score sheets for each subjects’ performance in a word-knowledge judgment task. Co-lead the Peer Leadership Training Course with another undergraduate student. Together, we taught peer leadership skills to a group of undergraduate students who met twice weekly for a semester. I assisted in facilitating and creating lesson plans for the students and assessed individual's performance and understanding of skills in order to pass the course.
