The project is co-financed through Operational Programme for Development of Human Resources, Structural Funds, of the European Commission.   -Experienced OSCE decision making process by negotiating the Model OSCE Youth Action Plan, over a period of 1 year and 3 international meetings-Contributed to development of OSCE Youth Action Plan, advocated for the adoption of it and continuation of youth participation in OSCE structures. Results in Ministerial Council resolutions: MC.DOC/3/14; MC.DOC/5/15-Researched and documented on the OSCE history, structures, policies and decision-making process-OSCE Youth Action Plan created and negotiated by OSCE Youth Ambassadors is currently being considered by OSCE structures.   Youth Policy Expert – A Young Vision for Public Policies in Romania and BulgariaThe project ‘A young vision for public policies in Romania and Bulgaria’ aims at strengthening cooperation between Romania and Bulgaria, with a specific focus on youth sector of civil society in both countries and the participation of young people from vulnerable groups at public life in their respective communities, as well as in decision-making processes. In this respect, the project identifies the challenges of youth at risk, with a particular focus on young NEETs* by looking at policies aimed to address the NEET situation as well as to programs that target this specific group. Main responsibilities:•Provide expertise on youth policies addressing young people in vulnerable situations with a particular focus on young NEETs;•Develop and implement quantitative & qualitative methodology in order to identify the main challenges of NGOs working with young NEETs at grass-roots level;•Deliver a report with findings and making recommendations for policy improvement for both UNICEF Romania and Ministry of Youth and Sports;•Organize and participate at trans-national meeting Romania – Bulgaria on sharing experiences and best practices in addressing young NEETs’ specific issues;•Organize and facilitate meetings with local stakeholders to raise awareness, disseminate and encourage public participation of young NEETs.*NEETs = not in education, employment or training Show less

  Chicago Votes educates young people with the leadership skills, civic knowledge and hands-on experience to have a lasting impact on democracy in Chicago. Chicago Votes’ Successes: - In the last two years, Illinois has made significant progress in election modernization, passing three of our bills for Early, Online and Same-Day Voter Registration. - In 2015 alone, we registered more than 20,000 Illinoisans to vote. Most of these are new, young voters from communities of color in Chicago. - Since our launch, more than 75 organizers, fellows and interns have mobilized hundreds of volunteers, registered thousands of voters, all while educating and organizing other young people around the democratic process and issues that matter most to them. -Contributed to grant writing for private donors, proposals up to $50 thousand-Organized youth campaigns and public debates to ecourage youth participation in election and civic life.Ex: National Voters Registration Day had mobilized 1.300 young people to register to vote in 9 locations and engaged 50 volunteers-Contributed to advocacy campaigns on youth-related issues in Chicago-Build partnerships with key stakeholders to advance evidence-based youth agenda-Attended high-level, civic society and academic debates on youth participation Show less

  The European Youth Card Association (EYCA) is a non-profit organisation that represents 40 youth card organisations & governmental institutions (membership) in 37 countries across Europe. All are committed to promoting youth mobility and active citizenship to more than 7 million young cardholders. -Design and deliver programmes of capacity building, knowledge-sharing and networking for 40 youth-card organisations across Europe;-Design and implementation of internal programmes that maximize the impact of members at their national level and of the Association, at European level;-Grant proposals development and full cycle of project management.
