      I was an effective decision-maker in high-pressure environments. I patrolled areas and allowed restricted area access for authorized personnel. I had multiple fire prevention safety training completed. I ensured the completion of all required aircraft forms, logs and reports. I implemented airfield safety procedures to ensure a safe operating environment for personnel and aircraft operation. I monitored the arrival, parking, refueling, loading and departure of all aircraft. I directed the movement of aircraft from the hanger bay to the elevators of the aircraft carrier. I tested machinery, equipment and parts to identify any defects, disassembled broken and defective equipment to facilitate repair, assembled and maintained physical structures using hand and power tools, and routinely inspected machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions. I soldered and brazed damaged equipment. As a Signalman I handled incoming and outgoing correspondence with other ships, via Morse codes using spot lights and arm signals then relaying the message to the captain of the aircraft carrier.
