In 2015 at the age of 52, after decades of therapy and tons of self-help work in a variety of areas, I found myself in 12-step recovery. Funded by NIDA, I2I (Innovation to Impact) has the goal of assisting substance use researchers in commercializing their innovations, as well as creating a community of substance use researcher/innovators to support each other in treating and preventing substance use disorders. I'm a born connector and motivator who has a history of substance use and mental health disorders in my family, so this project is near and dear to my heart! Show less
