      Was awarded a bursary by MINTEK to do research on the optimized design of Large Ball Mill Rock crushers for the Gold Mining industry. The thesis required the mathematical modeling of the system translating the physical process into a 16-th-order differential equation and then simulating the resultant behavior via a computer-generated simulation written in Visual Basic, providing a visual interface to the activity of the rock in the rock crusher under various load and configuration conditions

Data Quality Assesments, Business process re-engineering and infrastructure design were some of teh key areas that were my responsibility. The solutions that were mostly focused on related to risk management, supply chain management and balanced scorecard and strategy development.
