      As Forth Officer;• Being the certified watch keeping Officer (4th Officer) on board, I was responsible to the Master and C/O for:The maintenance of lifesaving equipment, including vessel lifeboats, Rescue Boat, Life raft, Life Buoys, Line Throwing Apparatus, Flares, Self-Igniting lights, Radar transponders, Radio Bacons, Life Jackets, Immersion Suits, Thermal Protective Aids, Embarkation Ladders, First Aid Kits, and to ensure that the equipment is kept at a constant state of readiness according to SOLAS requirements.The maintenance of all fire-fighting appliances, including smoke and heat sensors, Gas detectors, Alarms, Fire dampers, hoses, extinguishers, breathing apparatus and all appliances as per the Fire and safety control plan.• Maintained Lights, Shapes, Flags, Halyards and Sound Signalling Apparatus.• Kept safe navigational watch as instructed by the Master.• Took charge of mooring party when required.As Deck Cadet;• Upon completion of Graduation from Marine Academy, I joined the National Shipping Corporation as Trainee Cadet. During my training period, I was given opportunity to practice and learn thought practical experience.• All my superiors took good initiative to train me and all were highly satisfied and interested in engaging me with them.• I had the chance to rotate between different types and age group of ships to gather vast range of experience that included Multi-Purpose Bulk carrier, Container, Crude Oil tanker, General cargo ships with refrigerated space for Banana, meat etcetera.• Often I was engaged to perform Officers duty though I was only Cadet on board and was possible due to my professionalism, learning attitude and resilience.• I was also a trusted team member among the ratings while undergoing training by Deck Boatswain, Carpenter. Provided medical first aid, maintained ship’s medical stores,• Kept safe cargo/port watch as instructed by the Chief Officer.• Took charge of the mooring party.As Communications Officer;• While as Second also acted as Ship’s communication Officer during emergency and routine communications. Maintained of all navigational, satellite and radio communication equipment,As Third Officer;Assisted Master for Safe Bridge navigation watch and Chief Officer for Cargo Operation.Apart from this I had maintained the Ship’s Life Saving, Fire Fighting appliances.As Second officer and Third Officer on board, I was always appreciated and chosen by the senior officer for the reliability and sound performance.       Ship’s Chief Officer & Safety Officer

      As Chief Officer;• Being the second in command I have performed my duties and responsibilities with due diligence for 5 years,• Served on board Chemical and Oil tankers and were able to maintain a high level of safety and security. • As Master & Chief Officer on board my ships went through vetting inspection from OCIMF, CDI, FSC, PSC with no high risk observation and vessel was approved for business. I have participated in more than 300 inspections which include inspection by Shell, BP, ExxonMobil, Chevron, BHP, KOCH, Repsol, Total SA, Petronas, CEPSA, Statoil, Lukoil, Saudi Aramco, Conoco Phillips, CDI etcetera.• One of the major responsibility as Chief Officer is to ensure the Ship’s cargo tank readiness prior to loading oils and chemicals. I had carried out 100 over tank cleaning with zero failure and many of the cleaning involved carries food grade and sensitive chemicals.• Taking care of the cargo for maintaining the quality and quantity is a key responsibility and I had performed that duty with no loss or claims to my company. • Took due care for the protection of environment through following SOP for maintenance, dry docking, on board operations and kept a safe navigational watch.As Safety Officer;• While as Chief Officer also acted as ship's Safety Officer which includes the promotion of safe working practices and the conducting of regular safety inspections, training and reporting.• Ensured all shipboard safety equipment were maintained and regularly tested.
