   I took the job as a welder until a position opened in the HVAC department, my early experience was mainly rooftop a/c and heatpumps, but I quickly moved into chillers, pumps and boilers because of past mechanical experience. While working for Chandler Schools, I developed an interest in DDC controls and the district gave me many training opportunities. I installed, commissioned and built graphics for Automated Logic, Alerton, Johnson Controls Metasys and Wattmaster control systems

  Service/Controls Technician - Project Manager

   I was hired as mechanical / controls technician, my duties included both mechanical and controls troubleshooting /repair. I was responsible for all types of HVAC equipment including chillers, boilers, pumps, towers, rooftop equipment, VAVs, and air moving equipment. I was promoted to project manager to oversee the hiring of subcontractors and the supervision of our own installation crews, I was a hands on PM who personally participated in the installation, Programming, commissioning, Graphics and startup of both Circon (LON) and Wattmaster controls, as well as multiple system LON integrations.   Senior Project Specialist

   As a senior project specialist, I am directly involved with the programming, start-up and commissioning, graphics design and customer training for Alerton (BACnet) Controls, in the San Diego and Tucson branches of Climatec BTG. I have become a specialist in system up-grades from IBEX to Envision for BACtalk, and multiple system types of BACnet integrations. I currently oversee all operations, and manage all jobs, in the Yuma, AZ area, under the Tucson branch of Climatec.
