      Initially in the role of Plant Personnel Manager, Daryl recruited and facilitated the employment "life cycle" for hundreds of permanent and casual employees. He played a key role in costing and negotiating Award Restructuring changes for the industry sector, transitioning from 2nd Tier Wage Orders to the earliest Enterprise Bargaining Agreements. As the HR Executive reporting to the CEO at one of Queensland’s largest regional employers, Daryl provided strategic leadership in all aspects of HR/IR, Training and WH&S during significant organisational change, restructuring and due diligence corporate evaluations. Daryl advised the CEO/Board Executive Remuneration Committee. He was a Change Team Leader for two major IT and ERP implementations, and he led the HR/WHS team that achieved and sustained a $1M annual reduction in WorkCover premium using innovative preventative strategies with limited resources. Daryl was a member of the Queensland Government Workplace Health and Safety Manufacturing Standing Committee Meat Industry Advisory Group, Meat & Livestock Australia National OH&S Technical Group, and the Fast Moving Consumer Goods Human Resources Group.
