  Delved into the crucial area of enhancing structural integrity during fire by exploring the application of an insulation layer on Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) strengthened concrete members. One of the key findings of my research revealed the significance of thermal protection for CFRP materials, particularly as they are vulnerable to high temperatures in the event of a fire.

  This project will investigate the damage evolution in concrete mixes with various material compositions subjected to thermal and/or mechanical loads. The research will include detailed experimental and numerical investigations of the structural behaviour of concrete in the context of resilience and resistance to mechanical and environmental loadings.
