Initially engaged as Finance Manager to assist the then-CFO with implementation of a NetSuite and to update all necessary workflows and process documents. Subsequently promoted to Financial Controller, then CFO and Company Secretary, reporting to the CEO on delivering an efficient, compliant financial department as well as leading the IT group to deliver reliable IT services and improve system capabilities. Key outcomes during this time include growing revenue 15%, leading numerous growth projects including the acquisition of property and opening of a new school, reducing overhead costs by 25% and ensuring the sustainability of services in the NDIS environment, undertaking cost-control measures including process improvement and digitalization. I drove digital transformation for the organisation, providing a total review of the current state, including a blueprint and future strategy for a modern CRM. Critically, I also steered the organisation through pandemic-related uncertainties, securing Job Keeper payments to maintain service levels during lockdown periods and supporting service redesign. I also led the IT team through the response and transition to work from home, including deployment of hardware and software. Show less
