  Being a Data Migration Specialist required speaking on the phone with various companies and walk them through the steps of upgrading their Windows Outlook software to Office 365, as such I had to be proficient with those programs as well as many other Microsoft software’s that are frequently in the professional work space. I would speak several times over the phone with each individual company to ensure that I had input all their data into our systems prior to upgrading them from Outlook to Office. It required attention to detail, so our customers would not lose any of their work as well as managing each individual company throughout the day to maintain my goals.   At GEICO, I was responsible for providing excellent customer service to our policyholders and to provide them with professional insurance advice. On average, we would handle between 80-100 calls a day, with conversations that ranged from a simple payment, to assisting the customer with adding a juvenile to their policy and ensuring that they have the proper coverage for the worst life events that could happen. I maintained a very high level of excellence regarding my calls, receiving 3 promotions in the first year of employment. While it was a challenging position, it was rewarding as well, and taught me more about the insurance field as well as furthering my leadership skills when I was brought into the training environment to assist with current customer service representatives wanting to increase their numbers. I also assisted with training newer team members as they arrived to assist them with increasing their conversational speed.   My position is important in maintaining the safety of mall patrons as well as ensure that the needs of the tenants are taken care of in a timely manner. My day to day activities revolved around assisting a set of 5 – 6 properties, spread throughout the United States. I am tasked with maintaining CCTV awareness while also listening to radio and phone traffic. When requested, I would dispatch security guards to the location and assist with discovering what the emergency was on camera to for recordings and to later brief the property on for their records. I also assisted in the day to day maintenance on the computer systems, ensuring that they were maintained, updated, and appropriately upgraded while also fixing computers that were down to ensure system capabilities were maintained at 100%.
