      Am currently coordinating a Rights-based food systems project among the minority and indigenous populations in Kenya. prevention of food loss and food waste is vital in ensuring the availability of food to feed households and the entire world. Seed security is also key in the protection of indigenous food systems. The right to adequate food is a fundamental human right recognized by the United Nations. However, millions of people around the world still suffer from hunger and malnutrition due to various factors, including poverty, conflict, climate change, and unequal access to resources. We have to examine the underlying factors in order to transform our food systems and make them sustainable. Show less
