      The North Carolina State Energy Office distributed grants from Petroleum Violation Escrow funds, which were designated to support low income families to pay for heating and cooling expenses. In my position as grant administrator, I marketed the program, created materials, presented to various groups to garner support, and sponsored research. The grant ended up saving low income home owners over $1,000 each year.
