Also served as project manager and editor for numerous special sections, including the annual Best of Racine County contest and section featuring the winners; and annual business sections, two of which won Wisconsin Newspaper Association First Awards in Special Sections-Editorial in 2014 and 2015. Supervised a staff of two (was five at one time). Worked a news copy desk shift once a week and did the first copy-edit on news stories the other four days. Managed The JT’s two Facebook pages on the weekends, adding fresh posts, responding to reader messages and inquiries. I was also a member of The Journal Times' editorial board for several years.
