Automated deliveries, improving employee experience and supporting sustainability.▪ Digital Workplace Privacy Lead: In addition to his role as a Senior Product Manager, David is also the Privacy Lead for the Digital Workplace organization to ensure applications created by the Digital Workplace engineering teams meet internal privacy standards and external regulatory standards. Within this role David delivered a strategy, easy-to-use framework, and service to ensure continued GDPR compliance of all 34 Microsoft Digital Workplace services deployed across Microsoft campuses across the globe. Show less Capital Projects and FacilityLink: After proving his ability to deliver results for the Microsoft Audit group, David took on the challenge to assist Global Workplace Services in their effort stand up and onboard critical capital project management software necessary to manage the $5 billion Microsoft Campus Refresh project. David was tasked with coordinating a Core Systems Engineering and Operations (CSEO) wide effort to integrate RE&S’s 3rd party supplied capital project management software with Microsoft financial systems of record to process project invoices, purchase orders, and project expenditure requests. • Demonstrated extraordinary thought leadership in educating business stakeholders, Microsoft partners, and EUSE fellow team members on the breadth and depth of 3rd party software security and privacy compliance requirements for all stages of software development from procurement to go-live delivery.• Collaborated with Core Functions Engineering (CFE) to deliver a centralized multi-tenant API enabling both Real Estate and Security and Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) to automate the processing of 7300 purchase orders per year with a savings of over 10,950 man hours.• Oversaw the integration of RE&S capital project software with CFE MS Invoice modern invoice APIs so that 27,000 invoices worldwide can be processed without manual effort.• Drove the design and implementation of an asset management module and RFID tracking system that enables Real Estate and Security to use their D365 FacilityLink platform to track the physical location of any RFID tagged furniture asset, manage a furniture asset’s lifecycle, maintain work order history, and track warranty information. Show less Microsoft Core Functions Engineering: Internal Audit PortfolioDue to his success in managing the delivery of Internal Audit solutions for Corporate Functions IT, David was extended an offer to work directly as an FTE to deliver critical solutions for the Microsoft Audit Group. David continued his role coordinating the gathering and refinement of solution requirements, track execution of solution delivery, manage communication with Audit Group stakeholders, and provide quarterly presentation of program status to the Audit Group CVP.• Delivered transition of internal business database to CSEO hosting and support ensuring Audit data met engineering and security compliance. • Drove the completion of all re-engineering and privacy systems onboarding effort to ensure Audit group software met GDPR compliance before the European Union law took effect in May of 2018.• Ensured all Audit group applications were modernized to meet Core Functions Engineering modern security dimensions including secure endpoints, secret management, static code analysis, credential scans, elimination of production data in lower environments, and data access controls.
