      I was first paid to take photos in the US Air Force 1973-77. The work was officially for instructional design purposes for ICBM launch officers. Unofficially, I began shooting scenic California. I then expanded to Europe and later Mexico. In photography, I am a generalist. That is, I am skilled at taking many different types of photos. Some people specialize in landscapes, architecture, the arts, travel, macrophotography, insects, wildlife, portraits, and others. I've concentrated on them all at some point in my 40+ year career which included the diverse subjects of science, arts, agriculture and health while capturing images for the University of California for 28 years.
