Managing on-site labour, build monitoring, reporting progress to internal business divisions and client, quantity surveying, and building and managing the client relationship in a high-pressured event scenario.This was a challenging overseas project in which I was commended by the International Project Director as having 'consistently demonstrated clear concise communication with all members of the team, taken ownership and responsibility for his commodities and throughout been 100% reliable and dependable.' Show less Managing the finishing of Olympic & Paralympic grandstand venues, a scope of 100,000 seats across 14 venues.Responsible for profitable procurement and installation of media desks, ramp works & carpentry, toilets, fire protection, way finding & seat numbering, cleaning, and branding - specifically the installation of the client's extensive Olympic Look branding to grandstands.Responsible for arena build at several venues, involving planning component schedules, delivery plans, plant and machinery requirements, work scheduling, sub contractor management, quality assurance and being the main-on site presence throughout the build.This was an intensive, high profile event with a very demanding client and required meticulous attention to detail, a huge work effort, and initiative and determination to always get the job done.
