Besides the maintenance activities, I reconstructed eight Cotton Spinning Machines by using PLC technology and HMI operator panels (Telemecanique Micro PLC & Magelis HMI at that time).For the company Microfill S.A. (Industrial Minerals Processing) I reprogrammed an existing PLC to cover new requirements in production and setup a new SCADA using Visual I/O by Arsoft International. Show less

  Electrical Engineer in the Maintenance Department.As a daily operation during my shift, I am in charge of supervising and going through maintenance and repair works on all Electromechanical Installations which are in a large scale controlled by BMS, KNX and RMS Systems.Based on my previous experience in Industrial Automation, I could not resist in implementing my knowledge here in Club Hotel Casino Loutraki by accomplishing some improvements and developing some low scale projects based on PLC automation.A few to mention are:1. Drainage pump stations converted to PLC based automation and using Ultrasonic Sensors for Level control.2. Wind monitoring system to control fountain jets operation by using Omron PLC.3. Sauna & Hammam operation and temperature controlling with Mitsubishi PLC & HMI.4. Main water tanks filling and level control by using Schneider Electric PLC & HMIAs a certified KNX Partner, I took in charge of Reconstructing all existing KNX Installations. Reconstruction works had to take place because of the non existence of backup project files as they were not handed over by the companies that initially developed the bus installations. The installations were initially developed starting back in 1997.So, after my reconstruction works and having my created project files fully documented, I since then have done various improvements and alterations, by creating new KNX Visualizations, one for the Casino area and one for the Hotel area by using the Jung Facility Pilot Software.As for the Conventional Hall, after a full reconstruction and the creation of a documented KNX Project, by using a Gira Home Server I created a new Visualization for controlling the KNX installation.
