  Water Systems - Designed and directed the construction of a pumped water system to provide water to a rural mountain community of 20 families. - Co-directed the construction of a pumped water system to provide water to a rural mountain community of 60 families - Constructed 2 water intake structures, 3 ferrocement storage tanks, an electric pump, and 6 kilometers of distribution pipeline. - Developed 2 self-governed community water committees in project management, community organization, work organization, fee collection, and transparent accounting. - Developed statutes, by-laws, and land use contracts for these 2 rural community water systems Water Filters - Solicited and managed 2 Bio Sand Water filter projects providing a sustainable, easily accessible, clean drinking water source for close to 1,000 men, women, and children. Basketball Court - Solicited and managed the design and construction of a basketball court in a rural mountain community where there was no safe place for the children to play. - Solicited and managed the work load and accommodations for a group of 19 Americans to stay and work in this rural community for a week building the court. Community House - Solicited, designed, and constructed a multi-use community center in a rural mountain community General - Secured and managed over $40,000 used for material purchase, skilled labor, and overall project purposes of the above 5 projects. - Adapted to profound cultural and linguistic barriers in a high stress environment with difficult living conditions.
