      Project Title: Finding the Needs and Feedback of End Users of Commercial Vehicles with respect to Steering Systems.I did my Summer internship a Rane NSK Steering Systems Private Limited. I worked under marketing department. My job is to do market research on “Finding the Needs and Feedback of End Users of Commercial Vehicles with respect to Steering Systems”.This study is conducted to find the needs and feedback's of end users of commercial vehicles. This study brings out the needs of the end users of commercial vehicles and their satisfaction level with respect to different steering systems.As of now in the market majority of the vehicles having the solid steering system which is fixed one and users can’t adjust this type of steering systems. In Tilt & Telescopic steering systems users can adjust the steering according to their needs. This feature is presented only in passenger vehicles segment only. In this study the commercial vehicles driver’s expectation and their general feedback on both the type of steering systems with respect to different vehicles is explained.Their comfort, pain points and segment where they would like to have this Tilt & Telescopic steering system are explained in this study.The data collected from commercial vehicle drivers.The dealers also given the general feedback of customer’s expectation with respect to steering systems and it is explained in this paper.My Contribution:I have visited commercial vehicles dealers to know what are all the difficulties they are facing while servicing the steering column part. Apart from this I collected the steering column type and numbers which is demanded by Rane NSK. In office I did documentation of SOP’s. During my project I have taken some videos to show to the company about the driver’s feedback. This will be helpful for Rane NSK to show It to the OEM’S of Commercial vehicles in order to take the new business opportunity. Show less
