    • Trojan Event Services

      Oct 2021 - now

I began working at Trojan Event Services as a freshman in college. Having just moved across the country to USC, I knew I wanted a job to help stabilize my schedule. Coming from a performance art background, working as an usher for TES was an easy choice. Throughout my employment, I have been able to oversee a variety of events, from welcoming new and prospective students to campus on Discover USC days to witnessing talented student performances within the music and drama schools or even welcoming celebrities such as Laura Dern and Common into USC's Bovard auditorium. Apart from witnessing these incredible events, I have immensely grown my professional skills throughout my employment. As I mentioned, I began my TES journey as an event usher. Still, within just two years with the organization, I was promoted three times to floor manager, house manager, and finally, executive house manager, the position I work in today. As an executive house manager, I have grown my communication skills by facilitating conversations between Trojan Event Services and USC's School of Dramatic Arts. Additionally, I have formed foundations in supervising while managing over 70 staff members during the Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters. Finally, I have experienced the importance of teamwork in working alongside four other executive house managers and all of the organization's full-time staff. Overall, my time at TES has shown me how large-scale events run on USC's campus and has provided me with roots in management I hope to take with me in future opportunities beyond my undergraduate education. • OMG23

      Jun 2024 - Aug 2024
      Media Planning and Buying Intern

After spending the previous Summer working on Hearts and Science's Warner Brother's Theatrical account, I knew I wanted to expand my paid media experience and found the perfect opportunity to do so at OMG23. During my internship, I was able to work on in the Disney Branded Television account, overseeing the planning and buying of a variety of titles getting released on Disney Junior, Disney Channel, and Disney +. As an avid consumer of Disney's television content growing up, this was a nostalgic dream come true. With the DBT team I built upon my skills and learned new ones, gaining experience with Google Campaign Manager and Nielsen Clear Decisions. I was also reacquainted with the platform Prisma Mediaocean. Using these programs taught me more about the data that drives paid media performance and guides decision-making in early planning phases. In addition to my role on the DBT team, I also participated in Omnicom Media Group's internship-wide group project, where me and 11 other interns were tasked with creating an integrated media plan for a company of our choice. My team chose Under Armour, and by the end of the Summer, we were able to share our research and ideas with the strategy team working with that account. Through this project, I learned more about the retail and athleisure vertical in paid media, helping to diversify my knowledge in the overall field. Overall, I feel that my Summer at OMG23 truly enhanced my skills in paid media, and solidified my passions in marketing and entertainment. Show less
